Vermont Gray granite. The Johnson memorial is a throw-back to a very old and classic style. It stands 6’ tall, is approximately 5’ wide and 2’ thick. The shape carving on the cap stone is stylized acanthus which has the attributed symbolism “Heavenly Gardens.”
